Artists and scientists strive to see nature with a fresh eye. As a scientist
turned artist, I now explore the inner richness of nature and the human
form visually, looking for the structure beneath the surface and seeking
the original colors our eyes combine together. My thoughts are best expressed
by the softness and wonderful colors of pastels and watercolor.
My professional degrees are in Chemistry and Biochemistry. I worked as
a science educator at a university and museum in New Jersey. In the last
several years, I have studied art with teachers in the New York City metropolitan
area and in San Diego, but have been exhibiting and selling my work only
recently. I belong to several arts organizations in San Diego.
