Hartouni's research is situated at the intersection of cultural and
feminist studies and examines the workings of medical, legal, scientific,
and popular discourses on the contested terrains of such issues as
abortion, infertility, gender identity, and AIDS. Her current research
explores changing notions of reproductive freedom in the wake of the
dismantaling of the welfare state. |
