I did make up some of my own notation such as using brackets to indicate notes played together quickly rather than putting one or two lines through the characters(it would become to messy). Most notation I have writes Ko Ro as Ko Ro Ro I just simplified it to save space. At line 9 at 5.13 (5min. 13 sec.) to get the crane sound he fingers a low octave re (G pitch on 1.8) and does Ko Ro alternating the 1st and 2nd finger holes. I could have notated it differently but I decided on that. To get from the Hi octave back down to the low octave he momentarily does the low octave re alternation of the 1st and 2nd hole than starts to also alternate the 2nd & 4th holes at the same time eventually coming back to the standard Ko Ro(as far as I can tell). I don't know if I really notated it clearly. You definitely get to really know the piece deeply when you transcribe it. Years ago when I used to transcribe jazz solos and pieces and parts of solos (for bass from sax and bass solos) I found my level of playing always went up a notch.
