Donald Trinder
Donald Trinder is a historian at heart, and wrote his doctorate on the portrayal of Poland in the inter-war period and the dynamics of the shifting narrative, which is part of his basic interest in the history of Anglo-Polish relations. Since then, he has recently broadened his focus to look at the use of media in political discourse and the levels of toxicity in modern political discourse, contrasting this with political discussions from the past.
Donald is currently involved in a project that is researching levels of critical thinking at undergraduate level, and working on personal presentation skills, narrative building and communicative clarity and the chronic impact of social media on these skills.
He was recently part of the development team that set up the first course in Media, Visual and Social Communication at his home university in Rzeszow, Poland.
