The UC San Diego Career Center has information on how to find that ideal job or internship.  They offer:

  • Assessments to explore strengths, personality types, and interest areas.  Being able to articulate your strengths and personality traits will help you in interviews and find jobs that are a strong fit for you.
  • Tips for creating and polishing resumes and cover letters as well as preparing for an interview.
  • Resources for finding jobs, internships, and research opportunities. 
  • Drop-in and career advising appointments with Career Center staff. 
  • Sign up for a Handshake account and subscribe to weekly email updates about job fairs, grad school panels, and company/organization outreach events.
  • Tritons Connect is a networking tool for UCSD students and alumni.  You can use it to find a mentor.

The Writing Hub

The Writing Hub (a unit within the Teaching + Learning Commons) supports undergraduate students as they develop long-term skills as academic writers.

Academic Achievement Hub (Tutoring)

The Academic Achievement Hub provides programming that serves as interactive, academic spaces designed to reinforce and extend student learning in physical and/or virtual environments. These environments offer a wide variety of comprehensive support services and programs to enhance student academic success, retention, and completion rates. Their programs include:

  • Content Tutoring
  • Supplemental Instruction (Includes Study Groups)
  • Learning Strategies
