Bio
Daniel Martinico is a filmmaker and artist whose creative work has exhibited widely at film festivals, galleries and museums in both the United States and abroad, including Machine Project, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LA Filmforum, Anthology Film Archives, VideoEx Zurich, Il Cinema Ritrovato at the Cineteca Bologna, Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, and Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin. He has directed two independent feature films (OK, Good, 2012 and Excursions, 2016) and numerous short experimental works, and has collaborated extensively as an editor, cinematographer, and producer of narrative, documentary, and experimental film projects. Martinico’s work has been written about in Variety, Filmmaker Magazine, Keyframe, IndieWire and The Film Stage, and streams on MUBI, Fandor, Kinoscope, and Filmatique.
